Forklift-managed pallet store and picking store with wireless data connection, mobile wireless goods receipt, computer-controlled conveyor technology, automatic drive-through rack, dynamic height management. Most of the stock is made up of boards. These are added to existing storage in a way that optimises use of available space. The heights of the boards and shelves are administered and the operator is provided with a suggested storage location (provided that there is sufficient space for the height of the article). Height optimisation ensures that up to one third more stock can be stored than could be achieved using traditional methods. On storage, the operator is provided with a picture of the wood grain to verify whether the correct boards have been provided.
