Two-step picking with consolidation by light

The purpose of two-step picking is to minimise the number of picks in the warehouse. In the first step, identical articles (from different shipments) are pooled in the warehouse when the goods are reserved. In the second step, the picked goods are allocated to orders or shipments (consolidated) using a splitting list created in the system.

The special feature of this module is that after picking, employees are shown by a light signal at the consolidation shelf exactly where they should set down the picked goods for the relevant order.
Two-step picking yields a high pick performance.
