A special strategy for regulating the storage of hazardous materials.
Hazardous materials strategy
The hazardous materials strategy in the hazmat master determines a suitable storage location for inbound hazardous materials as well as the maximum quantity that can be placed there. The putaway strategies in PROLAG®World are also taken into account. These strategies are based on thresholds and storage compatibility guidelines. Thresholds are freely configurable and can be used to define maximum quantities (per VCI), water pollution categories, minimum spacing, temperature zones, and so on. Hazardous materials are picked and removed from storage taking full account of all relevant retrieval strategies.
