Serial number administration

If a serial number is entered at goods receipt, this number remains valid for all goods movements.If a serial number is entered at goods receipt, it applies to the goods as long as they remain in storage. A serial number can also be entered for the first time at stock retrieval. It is important here to determine whether specific serial numbers are required to fulfill the delivery order or whether the serial numbers are irrelevant.
